Innovation & Technology
Protection systems that are more advanced than standard solutions.
Muschert develops and produces anti-graffiti, anti-adhesion, and protection systems that are precisely adapted to the substrate, load, and subsequent cleaning:
tested, highly effective, and professionally implemented upon request.
Why Muschert systems work differently.
Graffiti appears in seconds. The consequences are discolored concrete, damaged appearance, and costly renovations that last months or years.
Many products promise protection. However, protection only becomes truly relevant when it functions reliably in everyday use: when graffiti does not deeply penetrate, when stickers do not adhere in the first place, when the surface’s appearance is preserved, and when subsequent cleaning does not become a permanent cost factor.
Muschert approaches these requirements not generically, but systematically. Different solutions are available for various substrates, stresses, and desired outcomes. This depth is precisely what distinguishes a product from a functional protection solution.
Not every surface requires the same protection. We know the difference.
A cornerstone of our success lies in our system depth: there isn’t ‘the’ anti-graffiti solution. Different requirements apply depending on the substrate, degree of stress, optical demands, and cleaning regimen.
Muschert has developed a clear product architecture for this differentiation, covering the entire protection area and ensuring product compatibility.
Our three protection classes
The products form a transparent, hydrophobic, and oleophobic impregnation based on fluoropolymers and microsilicon. They do not alter the visual appearance, keep graffiti off the surface, and allow for targeted cleaning with minimal effort.
Further information:
- Tested according to the TL/TP-ING test regulations.
- Approved by BASt and the Gütegemeinschaft Anti-Graffiti e.V. Berlin

The products based on natural microwaxes offer a decisive advantage over conventional systems: graffiti can be removed completely without chemicals — exclusively with hot water.
Further information:
- 100% biodegradable

- tested according to TL/TP-ING and listed according to DGNB
Suitable for:
- Substrates where periodic renewal is more economically or technically sensible
- e.g., noise barriers, bridges, and tunnel walls
Our permanent anti-graffiti system allows up to 23 graffiti removals exclusively with cold water.
Further information:
- Most aerosol paints do not adhere to this coating
- crack-bridging, breathable (water vapor diffusion class V2)
- also protects against weather influences
Suitable for:
- developed for extremely severe, frequently occurring graffiti vandalism
- additional protection against posters and flyers
PFAS-free
What PFAS-free means — and why it matters from 2027.
PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances — a group of particularly persistent industrial chemicals often called “forever chemicals” due to their slow degradation. They are found in many technical coatings but are increasingly under regulatory pressure due to their environmental and health risks.
What is PFAS?
Fluorine-based compounds that make surfaces water and dirt repellent. They hardly degrade in the environment — which is precisely what makes them problematic.
What changes in 2027?
Stricter legal requirements will apply to anti-graffiti protection systems: PFAS-containing systems will no longer be permitted. Many existing products will therefore be withdrawn from the market.
What does this mean for you?
Those who plan and build PFAS-free today are future-proof — without later retrofitting and without the risk of a system no longer meeting the requirements of future tenders.
- Already converted
Our protection systems are already PFAS-free today.
We have adjusted our formulations in good time and already meet the requirements applicable from 2027. This makes our protection systems future-proof — without compromising protective performance.
Important for classification: our protection systems (prophylaxis) are PFAS-free. Graffiti removers do not fall into this category.
Tested, listed, proven — what stands behind our systems.
The performance of an anti-graffiti system is not demonstrated in a brochure, but under real-world conditions. Muschert Oberflächentechnologie has put its systems through recognized testing and approval procedures that are considered binding quality proofs in German infrastructure construction.
AGS Protector
The permanent protection systems AGS Protector P and AGS Protector S are tested according to the Technical Delivery Conditions and Test Regulations for Engineering Structures (TL/TP-ING) and listed with BASt (Federal Highway Research Institute). Both systems are thus eligible for tenders for federal highway projects, noise barriers, and engineering structures. In addition, the systems are certified by the Gütegemeinschaft Anti-Graffiti e.V. Berlin.
Perma Color
AGS Protector Perma Color is also BASt-approved and was discussed by the DVLV (German Association for Noise Protection and Traffic Technology) as a sustainable solution.
Almost the entire portfolio is tested according to DGNB and listed as a sustainable product — a criterion that is gaining increasing relevance for public clients and tenders.

Technology is stronger when application is considered from the outset.
Protection systems only function permanently if the product, substrate, and application fit together perfectly. This is precisely why Muschert is not only a manufacturer and system provider but also a contact for professional implementation.
From substrate assessment to suitable system selection and on-site application, the entire process is considered from the outset.
Different systems require different application and cleaning logics.
Primers and preparation are not a detail, but often crucial for adhesion and appearance.
Muschert not only brings these protection systems to the market but also into daily practice.
Which technology makes what difference.
Our systems explained and differentiated in an understandable way – so you know exactly what you need.
For heavily used mineral surfaces
When it comes to frequent graffiti vandalism on concrete, natural stone, brick, or plaster, the performance question is central. AGS Protector P Innovation was developed precisely for such stresses and allows for very extensive cleaning with water.
For problematic mineral substrates, the system can be supplemented with the appropriate primer to specifically avoid optical changes.
For smooth, painted, or non-absorbent substrates
AGS Protector P Innovation light was specially developed for smooth, slightly absorbent or non-absorbent, as well as already painted surfaces, such as metals, tiles, signs, plastics, or wood.
This clearly shows: not only the protective effect, but also the substrate determines the right system.
For colorful design with protective function
Perma Color is the answer when not only protection but also color design is desired. Especially for visible infrastructure such as noise barriers, this combination of design, protection, and cleanability is sales-relevant.
For sticker and poster vandalism
Ultra anti-adhesion systems address a different problem: not just cleaning, but preventing adhesion. This is often the economically decisive difference for street furniture, traffic signs, distribution boxes, or poles.
For concrete protection and value retention
Protector OCI shows that Muschert Technology thinks beyond just anti-graffiti. The silane-based hydrophobing agent is DGNB-listed, solvent-free, water vapor diffusion open, and has a proven penetration depth of at least 11 mm.
Thus, surface protection becomes a reliable contribution to the preservation of mineral structures.
What customers specifically gain from this
Value retention, cleaning effort, and protective effect are not decided by the label, but by the appropriate system.
Precisely for this reason, Muschert does not develop and supply generic standard solutions, but protection systems that suit the surface, the load, and the subsequent use.
- Protection systems that are not sold generically, but selected to match the surface and load
- reduced cleaning effort and better removability for graffiti and vandalism
- solutions for different substrates instead of technical compromises
- reliable proofs of trust through tests, listings, and proven application
- a partner who not only describes product performance but masters it in use
